Cottage & Campsite Dining

Dinner by the fire.

At your cottage or your campsite. I cook it on site and pack out everything I brought.

A leg of lamb turning on a spit over an open fire at a campsite

On my own portage trips I’ve cooked a leg of lamb on a spit over an open fire and baked bread and scones in a dutch oven buried in the coals, so I know what works outdoors. Apple crisp and beef short ribs work just as well in the coals. Cottages, Airbnbs and car-camping sites in provincial parks all work. Tell me where you’re set up and how many are eating, and I’ll build the menu around what the space allows.
